MEANING

Bad Bones is a song about when two people take each other for granted, always reaching for something more & thinking there’s something better around the corner. It’s a track with a bitter edge, sometimes people use each other, & sometimes people are happy to be used, the more you get away with something, the more you’ll be inclined to do it. Some people are just better at being arse holes than anything else.

MUSIC / BACKGROUND

Bad Bones was the first track of the record to be finished. We used over 100+ channels on Pro Tools because we added so much into it. When you have the skeleton of the track down that you’ve been playing as a full band the best part is often when you get to sit down and listen to it, & add additional instruments & effects that really bring it to life. It’s something even you as a band haven’t heard yet and you get that ‘first listen’ feeling.
