MEANING

This tracks a story about getting up to no good. It’s about the nature of always wanting something more when you know you can’t have it. There’s quite a bit on this record about peoples temptations & difficulty to do the right thing. Obviously this track isn’t hiding behind any innuendoes or smoke and mirrors, it's about forbidden fruit, in principle it could be about any vice. That’s why it kicks off the record & sets the tone for what’s to come. We’re not a band that’s saying it’s cool to be promiscuous, or make bad decisions with negative consequences, we’re just saying that it happens, and sometime’s that makes for a good story.

MUSIC/BACKGROUND

Writing this song was one of the most exciting times we’ve had in our rehearsal space. It was one of those tracks that just felt somehow explosive. We played it over & over again together before we demoed it just so we could hear it, we totally fell in love with it!
